TJ's at Riverdale Y's Farmer's Market June 28 2015

The TJs  are happy to performed at their second annual outdoor gig at the Riverdale Y Sunday Market on June 28th.  This busy farmers market was open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the TJs  performed two sets among the merchants selling pickles and produce. 

The Y sponsors this family-friendly seasonal market every Sunday from mid-May through November, providing fresh, high-quality food grown or produced locally to within 100 miles.

The market works to support sustainable agricultural practices by fostering a direct connection between local shoppers and small-scale farmers and food producers.

Our local friends were able to see the TJs in between the rutabagas and the cauliflowers, and like Frank Zappa said, “Call any vegetable/ And the chances are good/ That a vegetable will respond to you!”
